Punggol-Based Outdoor Adventure School
Mel’s Adventure School’s weekend multi-sports academy introduces children to a wide variety of sports such as basketball, soccer, tennis, t-ball, and many more! Each sport will last for 4 weeks where 3 weeks will be spent on skills acquisition, and 1 week will be spent on skills revision and games.
Children will be able to learn a broad spectrum of fundamental movement skills through developmentally appropriate fun games and activities. Beyond reaping the physical benefits of our programme, Mel’s Adventure School hopes to inculcate soft skills such as sportsmanship, team work, and concentration skills.

We will focus on toddler’s spatial and body awareness through movement exposure. Toddlers will be exposed to 3 sports – Soccer, Basketball, and Rugby. Small-sized and light-weight equipment, such as size 1 and 2 rubber grooved balls will be used to ensure safety.
Sessions are lively with accompanied instructions, movements, music, and lots of fun!
Sessions are 45 minutes long, with a key emphasis on the development of gross and fine motor skills through sports-based activities.
Children are encouraged to have independent interaction and learning, thus minimal parent involvement is required. We will provide a supportive and safe environment for children to move from parent-supported participation to independent learning.
New equipment such as tennis racquet and progression to larger sized balls such as size 3 rubber ball will be introduced.
Sessions are an hour long, building on existing skills and providing opportunities to have a better understanding of the sports covered in the programme.
Sessions will be taught at a higher pace, with more challenging and advanced activities to develop children to be competent in all physical aspects.
Introduction of territorial and group concept games will further expose children to team settings that will enhance their social and emotional growth. Heavier equipment such as latex rubber balls will be used in opposed play settings to stimulate actual sports conditions.
We have a very comfortable ratio of 1 Teacher to 8 Children per session and the maximum number of children per group is 16 per level.
We are an Outdoor Adventure School offering Weekly Forest & Nature School Classes, Weekend Multi-Sport Academy Sessions, and School Holiday Camp Programmes in Singapore.
