The pre-school programme at Mel’s Adventure School is designed for children between the ages of 4 to 6 years old. It aims to encourage children to explore and learn about nature in a safe and fun environment. The programme offers a variety of nature-based activities that help develop a child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills. Activities include storytelling, nature walks, arts and crafts, games, and songs.

Preschool Programme

The preschool programme aims to encourage children to explore and learn about nature in a safe and fun environment.

It offers a variety of nature-based activities that help develop a child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills. Activities include storytelling, nature walks, arts and crafts, games, and songs.

Daily schedule

Our daily schedule offers time for children to participate in both group activities and independent child choice activities. 

Welcome and Introduction

9:00 a.m. – 9:15 a.m.

Teacher and Children will introduce themselves and welcome the children to the session. Teacher will go over any safety rules or guidelines for the day and explain what the children can expect to do during the session.

Nature Walk and Habitat Exploration

9:15 a.m.

Children will go on a guided nature walk.

Sensory Exploration

9:45 a.m.

After the nature walk, the children will have a chance to explore the area using their senses. They will be encouraged to touch, smell, and listen to the different elements of the natural surrounding.

Nature Scavenger Hunt

10:00 a.m.

The children will be divided into small groups and given a list of items to find on a nature scavenger hunt.

Nature Art

10:30 a.m.

Once the scavenger hunt is complete, the children will be given the opportunity to create art using the items they collected on their scavenger hunt.

Reflection and Closing

10:50 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

The session will conclude with a group reflection on what the children learned and experienced during the day.
