Our History

Mel’s Adventure School was founded in 2018 by Melvin Lee, a passionate educator and outdoor enthusiast, who wanted to create a space where children could learn, play, and connect with nature.

Melvin had a vision of a forest school that would be different from traditional schools, where children could learn through exploration and adventure, in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Mel’s Adventure School hopes to continue to inspire children to connect with nature and each other, building the skills and confidence they need to thrive in the world.

Our Young Adventurers

We welcome children of all backgrounds and personalities to join our forest and nature-based programmes. Our programmes are designed to cater to children who have a passion for nature, adventure, and learning through exploration. We believe that every child has their unique interests, skills, and learning styles, and our programmes are designed to meet the needs of each individual child. Our diverse and inclusive community of learners is made up of curious and imaginative children who are eager to discover and explore the wonders of the natural world.

Whether your child is outgoing, reserved, adventurous, or contemplative, we provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where they can grow, learn and thrive.

Our Community

We are a vibrant and inclusive community of like-minded individuals who are passionate about nature and child development. Our community consists of educators, parents, and children who share a common goal of fostering a love for the environment and promoting holistic growth in children.

We welcome families from all backgrounds and strive to create a warm and supportive environment where everyone feels included and valued. Our community is built on trust, respect, and open communication, and we believe that every member has a unique role to play in creating a positive and enriching learning experience for our children.

Health & Safety

The health and safety of our students and staff is our top priority. We take a proactive approach towards ensuring a safe environment by adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures. We carry out regular risk assessments when operating in an outdoor learning environment to ensure children’s safety. Our staff are trained in first aid and emergency response, and we have emergency response plans in place for a range of scenarios.
