Programme Design & Conceptualisation

It has been 7 months since Mel’s Adventure School launched in August last year and I am really thankful for the support and opportunities that were given to us to test some of our programme ideas and concepts. Initially, our focus was to only offer swimming classes, forest and nature experiential sessions, and leadership training workshops. After consolidating numerous feedback from our clients and students, we have reviewed our programme offerings and have carried out a complete re-design of our programmes to cater to children of different age groups.

Therefore in 2020, I am pleased to announce that we will be launching our Multi-Sport & Outdoor Adventure Programme. Variants of the programme will also be available to cater to children of different age groups- Playgroup (age 18 months to 3 years old), Pre-Schoolers (age 4 to 6 years old), Primary Schoolers (age 7 to 12 years old).

I am also happy to announce that in the second and third quarter of this year, we will be offering free trials for our multi-sport and outdoor adventure plus programme that we have designed and developed. The programme trial will cater to primary-schoolers (age 7 to 12 years old) and it will take place on seven regular Saturdays from 15 June to 27 July 2019 at Punggol. Trials for the other variants of the programme will be announced at a later date.

Multi-Sport & Outdoor Adventure Plus School

Our Multi-Sport & Outdoor Adventure Plus School aims to help children (age 7-12 years old) develop physical literacy through quality instruction and a combination of structured and unstructured activities and games.

Children will also have the opportunity to visit natural spaces to learn personal, social and technical skills on a regular basis. Topics are cross-curriculum (broad in subject) and it includes the natural environment, for example the role of trees in society, the complex ecosystem supported by a wilderness, and recognition of specific plants and animals. The natural environment may also be used to learn about more abstract concepts such as mathematics and communication.

Free trials for the Multi-Sport Adventure Plus School will take place on 15, 22, and 29 June 2019 and on 6, 13, and 20 July 2019 from 9 am to 1 pm. We will be meeting at the open field of 662D Edgedale Plains, Singapore 821662. There are only 8 slots available for each trial session and if you are interested, you can sign your child up below.

If you have any questions regarding our programmes, please do drop us an email at and we will get in touch with you as soon as we can!

Stay tuned for more updates that will be coming your way!

This is one of the best piece of news for us here at Mel’s Adventure School! Kudos to @nparksbuzz for this initiative! We certainly hope more of such nature playground will be rolled out in Punggol!

This is rather appalling. Water is the driving force of all nature and in almost every country that I’ve been to, the river is where great cities flourish.
